The Krewe of Boo! is a weekend full of events and its parade is the first big event kicking it all off. In a city known for its love of costume and letting the good times roll, it’s no surprise that New Orleans is known as the best place to celebrate Halloween.
The Krewe of Boo! is captained by Brian Kern, son of the legendary Blaine Kern, Sr. aka Mr. Mardi Gras. The Kern family has been creating Mardi Gras magic since 1932. Brian has grown the Krewe of Boo! into a highly anticipated event, and a tradition people both near and far look forward to every year.
